"All women are flirts, but some are restrained by shyness, and others by sense."

Hmmm.... true, or not?
I tend to think it's reflects the nature of women...
I tend to think it's reflects the nature of women...
"There came unto Him a woman having an alabaster box of very precious ointment, and poured it on His head as he sat at meat. But when His disciples saw it, they had indignation, saying, 'To what purpose is this waste?'" Matthew 26:7-8
Throughout the past twenty centuries thousands of precious lives, heart treasures, high positions, and golden futures have been "wasted" upon the Lord Jesus. To those who love Him in such a way He is altogether lovely and worthy of their offering. What they have poured upon Him is not a waste but a fragrant testimony of His sweetness and worthiness.

and it's a good thing, too...
I've heard it said often this way - that men want women and women want to be wanted. I think that is similar, and I think there is a lot of truth there about how women are wired relationally.
Now you've got me thinking. I just wrote a long comment and then decided I wasn't sure I was saying what I wanted to say. You have a way of making me use my brain!! ;)
Oh my...and that comment is an inside joke between my husband and I...thus the reason I left it on his face book on our anniversary.

Taken from www.dictionary.com:
(the definition that fits the context of the quote)
Flirt: to court triflingly or act amorously without serious intentions; play at love; coquet.
It depends on what the definition is that the author had for that statement. I certainly hope that all women aren't flirts according to the dictionary.com definition!
On the lighter side, here's a photo for the women who would disagree with the statement. :~)
